The study’s results, compiled in this report, reveal that various subsidies save a city household an average of INR 2,464 per month and have a significant impact on the savings and expenditure of benefitted households. The report recommends that the subsidies may be continued for the socio-economic development of the people living at the bottom of the pyramid.
