The State EV Cell of Delhi released its three-year action plan for accelerating EV charging and swapping infrastructure deployment at the fourth Delhi EV Forum on August 22, 2022. The action plan was a result of efforts of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure Working Group, chaired by Vice Chairperson, DDC Delhi toward creating a unified strategy for all stakeholder agencies to maintain synergy so that Delhi can achieve its aim of deploying around 18,000 public and semi-public EV charging points by 2024.
