2nd Delhi EV Forum | Celebrating 1 Year of Delhi EV Policy

To mark a year’s anniversary of Delhi EV policy 2020, DDC Delhi, with RMI India’s support, hosted the second convening of the Delhi EV Forum on August 6, 2021. More than 140 participants from auto, charging and fleet sectors of the EV ecosystem and ministers attended the virtual meeting.
The Delhi Government also announced that it will soon sign an MoU with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) to set up public charging infrastructure on all DTC properties.
1 Year of Delhi EV Policy:
- 1,12,321: Number of electric vehicles in Delhi now
- 1.2% to 3.3%: Rise in the share of EVs in new vehicle sales in Delhi in just 1 year
- 813 to 1002: Rise in adoption of e-cars (20% growth)
- 1,013 to 2,243: Rise in number of electric two-wheelers
